I recently dined at Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I started with their famous clam chowder, which was creamy and packed with tender clams--truly the best I've ever had. Each bite was a taste of heaven! The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our dining experience was top-notch. Easy Such a great spot in HMB. Professional and friendly staff, good food and nice bar selection. Can't ask for a better view. As a local, Sams never disappoints!

Food was good based on the following we ordered since we didn't try yet all the food menu: -Calamari - big portion x2 -Grilled Octopus - ordered x2 -Oysters - 24 pcs -Crab sandwich - a bit dry -Seafood pasta - big serving -Gelato afogato - love this -fish entree - i forgot -Ceviche - a bit dry The server, food runner and busser arw all very attentive.

I've been a long time customer and fan of this amazing restaurant. Their chowder has always been consistent as with their other entrees and their service. Lifetime customer for sure.

Sam's is always booming but the perk to having a few days off in the middle of the week is getting to enjoy gems like this with little to no crowds! We got here around 12:40 and were told 20-25 mins for an outside wait and 5 mins for an inside table. We put our name in for outside and 12 mins later our table was ready! It was such a gorgeous day and the back is shielded to protect from wind for the most part even though there was no wind. We had a spectacular view, great food items/choices/recommendations and excellent service. Everything was cooked perfectly. Thanks Sam's for a lovely 2.5 hour social eat with views and not making us feel rushed to leave. With this spot only 10 mins from us, we will be back again.

This place was a really cute restaurant to have family brunch! We got so many dishes to share family style. The service was very good as well. I highly recommend this place for tourists, locals, and families.

Beautiful view to ocean and really good food. Recommend the seafood paella and clam chowder.
